Well I want to know how can I download new themes for my bb. When ever I click on the link to download is says i dont have the 4.1 software requirements. How do I get that? Does this have something to do with the CD that came in the box? What’s that for? Please help I want to get some different themes!
First of all, you will need to download the Desktop Manager software from blackberry.com. Second, you will probably have to update your firmware or OS on the BlackBerry itself. Third, you just go to this link and download your free desktops.

I download the Blackberry 4.1 software and nothing shows up on my desktop or ‘new programs’ added. What’s up?
I downloaded the blackberry software 4.10 for my BB 8700c and nothing shows up in my start up or my desktop. I’ve called support 3 times and they send me the download instructions for http://www.cingular.com/downloads. I download the .exe and nothing launches. If I save and then try to launch nothing happens. What’s up? Why isn’t windows XP picking up the ‘new program’? HELP!
I can understand that would be terribly frustrating! What I would suggest to you is to carefully document your current settings (an easy way is to go into each of your options in the desktop manager and take a screen shot, then paste into word).
Next, get your updated software directly from RIM

and install. Once you are finished, check your settings to ensure that they match the settings you have documented.
Finally – synch your blackberry using the new software, and follow any other follow-up instructions that the software upgrade suggested.
